For local moves we charge by the hour. The hourly rates vary according to the number of workers and size of the truck we send to perform moving services.
The hourly rates:
Labor only
$30 per mover (2hr min)
Truck with 17 cubic feet box and 2 men
$69/hr (3 hr min)
Truck with 24’box and 2 men
$79/hr (4 hr min)
Truck with 24’ box and 3 men
$99/hr (4 hr min)
There is a $20 charge for every additional helper
In any case there is an additional one-hour travel time charge. This is to compensate the movers for the time it takes us to get to origin (pick up address) and to get back to our base from the delivery address (destination)
Surcharge will apply to move oversized and heavy items – such as piano or big screen TV.
